i've just moved northeast to work in the streets for 6 months with business leaders for sensible priorities, and i have already had a potentially violent situation happen. this made me realize that my violence de-escalation skills are ad hoc and potentially useless for this type of job.

i remember a DA site (for the NY RNC?) posted great informaiton about the steps to cool a situation down. maybe i read an article in Slinghot. Can't remember!

Does anyone have a link for any good info on this topic? Care to mail me photocopies of any materials you have? Any links to decent books would be nice (i try to buy used books only).
